M/Y “ALFA”, 70M FULL CUSTOM SUPERYACHT

Through the comprehensive refit executed by Lusben, the yacht’s original identity was renewed with a contemporary style, translating the owner’s vision with precision. The project involved the shipyard across both technical and aesthetic works: technological upgrades, systems engineering and a full repaint were executed alongside a complete reconfiguration of the interior layouts and bespoke furnishings.

STRUCTURAL & AESTHETIC INTERVENTIONS

The project began with structural and aesthetic interventions, including the full repainting of the hull and Owner Deck, combined with wrapping applications and multi-level protective coatings. At the same time, Lusben oversaw the extensive technical programme associated with the five-year survey, involving major inspections and servicing of stabilizers, propulsion shafts, valves, engines, gearbox, and generators, as well as comprehensive electrical testing and control system checks.

COMPREHENSIVE INTERIOR REFIT

The most important evolution, however, lies in the interior, curated by UK-based studio Mark Berryman Design. The aim was to enrich the onboard experience while preserving the elegance that has always defined Alfa’s design language. The Main Deck was completely reimagined: new custom sofas, marble-clad tables with built-in fire pit, chaise longues and bespoke poufs. Walls and doors were redesigned, and the master suite underwent significant upgrades, including a new headboard, updated finishes and redesigned cabinetry. Hospitality areas also received special attention: four custom bars were installed throughout the yacht, including a teppanyaki bar on the skydeck and a curved servery. The galley was entirely reconfigured with a more efficient layout and new equipment. Along the portside corridor, a striking wine cellar was created, housing large-capacity wine fridges and transforming a transitional space into a key design feature.
